The sun has been making an appearance - well sort of. We had the most gorgeous weather over the last Bank Holiday and It finally felt like we could start putting our winter coats away to make more room for summer worthy clothes, colours and fabrics. It was feeling like trench coat season and I started to swap my heavy knits for cute dresses and was braving the elements with my legs exposed, I was so here for it.
This bout of sunshine couldn’t have come at a better time because I was in the middle of creating content for some of my favourite brands and was show off their SS19 collections. One brand I had the pleasure of working with is Primark - a brand I love and have shopped at for years! With on-trend fashion at affordable prices, it's definitely a place everyone has shopped at before - unless you're super boujie or live under a rock. It recently launched its biggest store ever right in the heart of my home city Birmingham and the store is absolutely spectacular with five floors, two cafés, a beauty bar, a home section and all the fashion we need; it’s a one stop shop for all you need to look good this summer and beyond.
Enter this amazing dress which I picked up during my visit to Primark. It’s the dress that’s giving me sophisticated and expensive teas for only £20!!! Yes you read that right; I got this dress for only £20 and I was absolutely stunned because it looks much more expensive. Not to mention it's also very well made and fits like a dream. I felt like an absolute goddess when I wore this dress and I received so many compliments (thank you, that you, you're far too kind). It’s the perfect dress for summer with light fabric and a vibrant print and paired with some white sandals and a cute bag, you can sashay into any summer event and steal the show without breaking the bank.
I will definitely be wearing this dress again when the weather stops being so temperamental and I’ll also be making another stop at Primark very soon to pick up some more gems.
What do you guys think of this dress? How would you style it?
