Current Skincare Saviours

Skincare is one of the things I really want to pay more attention to this year. I'm 27 years old now and even though this black don't crack I thought it was about time I made a start. I'm not an expert or a pro on skincare. To keep it all the way real, I've never really cared that much about it. My skin has never really given me problems. Well besides that one time I got hormonal acne but other than that its been okay. I say okay because it could always be better. I mean who doesn't want flawless great skin? I know I do. Which is why this year I want to tackle my skin problem areas.

I've always had normal skin with an oily t-zone area and in the winter I get really dry. With that comes the occasional spots, hyperpigmentation and dullness to the skin. Not great I know but I must say I have really started to see great improvements with the items I'm sharing in today's post. My current skincare saviours.

Nip + Fab Glycolic Cleansing Fix

I've been using this cleanser for the past few weeks. It was introduced into my routine because my previous cleanser just wasn't doing anything for my skin. This glycolic fix cleanser however; amazing! Within two weeks I was already seeing visible improvements to my skin. My hyperpigmentation is beginning to fade and my complexion is getting brighter and more even. It's also really affordable and easy to find in Boots and Superdrug which is great for me.

Eness Cosmetics Exotic Africa Argan Oil Gentle Bath Milk

My second skincare saviour is this bath milk from Eness Cosmetics. It is so luxurious and pampering. With Argan oil, Abyssinian oil and Ylang Ylang oil it not only moisturises my skin during bath time but it also relaxes me immensely. I rarely take baths because I find showers quicker and more convenient but when I do I make sure I have this bath milk to hand.

The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%

This next product is just new in and was delivered from Look Fantastic yesterday. Naturally I can't say much about it but I wanted to include it anyway. It has received such great reviews so I just had to try it out. Believe me when Wayne Goss says something is worth the hype and calls it the skincare product of 2016 you just have to get it. So I did. And now I'm sharing it with you! I'll keep you updated on my progress with this via my social media so if you're not already following me here's my Twitter & Instagram. I would also love to know if you guys have tried out any of The Ordinary's products.

Eness Cosmetics Exotic Africa Argan Oil Nourishing Body Oil

The next product is another from Eness' Exotic Africa Argan Oil range. It's their nourishing body oil which is so amazing! Seriously I have nearly run out of this product because I have used it every single day since I got it. I apply it all over my body after my showers and it's great mix of oils leaves my body well moisturised. I enjoy really hot showers which can tend to strip the skin of it's oils so this oil is perfect for putting that moisture right back into the skin. It also leaves my skin feeling soft and supple and it smells amazing. My only qualm is that it doesn't come in a bigger bottle.

Coco fresh Coconut Oil

Next item is the saviour of all saviours. My Coco Fresh 100% pure coconut oil. Not only can I use this to cook and bake but it is also a good all rounder for my skincare. I mainly use it to remove my makeup but it also works great as a face, body and hair moisturiser. It is absolutely amazing and leaves my skin moisturised, nourished and soft. I also use it to make my homemade natural deodorant because of it's antibacterial properties. So if you're interested in finding out how I make my homemade natural deodorant, let me know in the comments below and maybe I'll do a quick post on it.

Superdrug face Masks

Last but not least are my face masks from Superdrug. I tend to pick up one or two every time I pop into Superdrug and I absolutely love these masks. They come in so many different types to target different skin problems and they're super cheap which is always a win in my books. My favourite is the detoxifying dead sea mineral mask which is great for getting rid of impurities and promoting a clearer and healthier complexion. I try to do a face mask once or twice a week and ever since I started doing this, my skin has improved. I'd greatly advice incorporating masks into your skincare if this is an area you ignore. They're good for you and they're super fun and girly!

Superdrug Face Masks

That brings me to the end of my skincare saviours loves! I'm slowly trying to incorporate new products into my skincare throughout this year and I'm super excited to try out some new products and start seeing some great results. I'd love to know some of the skincare products you guys absolutely swear by. Leave a comment below. Sharing is caring!
