Hey dolls! Is it me or is it getting chilly out here in the UK? I love this time of year because of the cosy nights and the pumpkin spiced lattes but on the flip side I have noticed that it's very easy to get in a fashion rutt because your main concern becomes keeping warm rather than looking "cute". I do tend to find myself reaching for the same old jeans and the same old jumpers and the easiest way I find to spice outfits up is with some cute jewellery and accessories, that's why I was so excited when I was contacted by Miss Milly UK to do a review of a few of their accessories!
Miss Milly UK is a young and growing brand that was established in 2012 with its main objective being selling to retailers. 3 years down the line and still going strong Miss Milly are now looking to expand their consumer audience by selling via their online store, gift shops, department stores and clothing boutiques. They have so many beautiful pieces including necklaces, rings, earrings and scarves and when I was asked to pick a few items for review I was so spoilt for choice! I picked three items from the site and they came very quickly and well packaged. Everything came in a rectangular box and each individual item also came in its own branded packaging which I thought was a cute touch. It's always lovely when you buy something and it comes in pretty packaging.
I love my dainty studs for everyday wear and being an owner of a lot of gold costume jewellery I wanted to pick some cooler toned jewellery so the first thing I picked was the flower and butterfly earrings that I thought were so cute and dainty! I love that although these studs are very simple they're still very interesting with their shapes and carefully placed accents without being being garish. I've been wearing the butterfly studs non stop since I got them because they're so cute and they go with absolutely everything.
The second item I picked was a silver plated geometric necklace which I loved because although it's quite small it's a statement piece with its unique geometric design. I also love that when you look close enough you can see a pattern overlay on the necklace and it's unique and subtle details like this that get me every time; this necklace is so pretty!
Last but not least I picked this grey-blue sparkle scarf which is a nice light weight fabric for this time of year when the cold isn't yet in full swing. I also love these types of scarfs because they're so versatile and I can wrap it round my neck to keep warm, as a turban or band on my head as a hair accessory or even tie on to my handbags for added interest. I'm gonna get so much wear out of this scarf and can't wait to feature it in some upcoming outfit posts.
I absolutely love all my goodies from Miss Milly and I'm so grateful that they decided to send me some of their lovely items which are not only stunning but are of very good quality.
