I can’t get enough of co-ords this season and I can’t see myself getting tired of them anytime soon. I absolutely love my checked suit from LOTD which you would have seen in a previous post but I had to add another co-ord to my wardrobe in the form of this Monki number. It’s absolutely amazing and I totally talked myself into getting it by thinking of all the amazing ways I could style it. I mean not only is it a co-ord but it’s a pair of funky stripped trousers and a utility jacket; which will both come in handy during the warmer months. The colour is also extremely appropriate for warmer weather and I also love the stripes which help a little lady like myself look that bit taller (I need all the help I can get).
Styling wise, I kept the look very simple and just added a black fitted cami into the mix as well as some simple black mules. Keeping things nice and simple made sure that the co-ord was 100% the star of the show and I love how the look turned out. I also decided to add a pop of colour with a red lip and this stunning personalised *ART bag from my babes over at Kipling Global. I have their Kipling *City Pack backpack in the same colour which you would have seen in my Power Dressing post and I thought that this ART bag would make a good addition to my Kipling family. That and the fact that I needed a new gym bag pretty much summed up the reason why I chose this bag and of course I had to be EXTRA and get it personalised because why the hell not!? I’d definitely advise making use of the Kipling personalisation service when shopping on their website. It’s such a great touch, especially when you’re giving one of their bags as a gift.
I can’t wait to break this outfit up and style the jacket over a simple midi dress and maybe style the trousers with a bright graphic tee and sandals on a sunny day. I believe in getting my money’s worth out of outfits so I will definitely be making sure I wear this co-ord as many ways as I can. Please try not to get tired of seeing it on my Instagram but if you do; sorry not sorry! Do you like this co-ord set? How would you style it?
