Autumn In The Summer

Summer time is officially over in the UK and Autumn is beginning to pick up. As much as I’m loving the summer heat over here in Zambia; I’m totally over the summer fashion and I’m getting a little envious of all the transitional pieces and knitwear I’m seeing all over my Instagram timeline. So today I thought I’d bring an Autumn look all the way from sunny Zambia in the form of this dress from Zan Style.

It is the perfect transitional dress that can work for both warm and cool days and it is so incredibly flattering. I love that it has 4 pockets and a belt to cinch you in at the waist and I also love it’s length. Short enough to work for casual days but also long enough that you can spruce it up and wear it for a meeting.

*Dress – Zan Style
*Bag – Aily Official
*Boots – Treds UK
*Watch – Versus Versace

For this particular look I styled it with a cute cross body bag from Aliy Official which is a dupe for the Diorama bag and some black ankle boots from Treds UK. I also kept the jewellery super minimal with some hoop earrings and my fabulous new rose gold Star Ferry watch from Versus Versace's SS17 collection. The watch just adds that little something extra to the outfit and compliments it so well. This is totally an outfit that could see me from day to night and one that I could be chic and comfortable in all day.

I really love this dress and can’t wait to play around with it’s styling in the weeks to come. I think it would look super chic layered over a white blouse with some heels and that’s definitely one of the looks I have in mind for it. How would you style this dress for both warm and cool weather? Please do tell in the comments below!
